Just a Silly Little Adventure

A defiant little travel bug has been implanted in my spirit and will not let go. I blame the unrelenting little sucker for my need to go on this silly little adventure...

The Antidote
I said good riddance to my jobs and drew up a vague plan based on where the sun will be shining this time of year. Naturally, I pitched the idea to the craziest in the family first—my dad.

Dad's Email: Sound advice, mistaken assumption
My dad said a few key things in his email response to my crazy idea.
“You can’t be afraid to try new things.” --Yeah! Sound advice. Thanks pop!
“Valuing experiences over stuff is not a bad thing." --Got it! Draining my bank account as we speak.
“I think your mom is going to be a harder sell.”--Well, shoot.

Mom's Email: Grammatically horrendous, but charming concern
She's a little bit foreign. Enough said.
“Go fore it!”
“I’m concerns for your helth and fafety”
“I think this is a good time to explore the other world rather than the later think about it ...I wish..I could..”
My mom, who cleared her schedule long before I did, decided that she too was in need of a silly little adventure and decided to come with.

Here is a vague itinerary of our upcoming travels in South America:
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Iguazu Falls, Argentina-Brazil
Mendoza, Argentina
Santiago, Chile
La Paz, Bolivia
Salt Flats, Bolivia
Lake Titicaca, Bolivia-Peru
Arequipa, Peru
Machu Picchu, Peru
Amazon River Basin, Peru
Trujillo, Peru
Vilcabamba, Ecuador
Guayaquil, Ecuador
Quito, Ecuador

Needless to say, I will be writing the blogs for both of us..
